How would YOU like to see members of the new Future Armidale School behave and learn? All parents, students and wider community are being given the UNIQUE and EXCITING opportunity to vote on the Core Expectations for the new school. Harmony Day

Australia is the most successful multicultural country and we celebrate this diversity at our school. We have a strong multicultural body and we value our students who have migrated to this country. We celebrated this day with many students wearing clothing relating to their country of origin and students and staff recognising the accepting values of the day by wearing orange. AHS Staff to Participate in "Shadow a Student Challenge" Shadowers Are Part of a Collective Movement of Educators Making Positive Changes in Their Schools Three staff from AHS (Carolyn Lasker, Annette Callister and Fiona Smee) participated in ‘Shadow a Student Challenge' where school leaders come together to "walk in the shoes" of their students and take action at their school. Aboriginal Studies - Art Exhibition

Tuesday 6th March saw the year 9 Aboriginal Studies class present their exhibition of Aboriginal art. Local artists like Nick Levy and Derek Moran featured alongside Stan Dryden and Sally Morgan. The event was enjoyed by many family members and teachers and the students enjoyed showing off their chosen artists' work and details of their lives. Stan Dryden's daughter, Mara told us something of her dad's life and what he is currently working on, and the morning was a great overall learning experience for everyone.... Read more

Invitation to Armidale Future School Drop-in Info Sessions

The Armidale community is invited to attend drop-in sessions at Duval and Armidale High School to view concept designs of the new Armidale Future School, talk to members of the planning team, ask questions and provide feedback.
